Four Takes on the Negroni Cocktail Recipe from Campari & Dante NYC
We recently spoke to Linden Pride, owner of Dante in New York City, about how his team is dealing with and working through the COVID-19 pandemic. As the winner of ‘World’s Best Bar’, Dante needed to work fast to ensure that they were connecting with customers even when they couldn’t dine in. Dante delivers a special experience for guests, and they wanted to reproduce this same experience in a customer’s home.
The negroni cocktail kits were a key strategy in this respect. Well known for their negronis, Dante packaged flights for consumers along with complimentary flowers, sparkling water, and Spotify playlists to fully recreate the Dante experience.
Additionally, Dante took part in this year’s virtual edition of Negroni Week
by hosting both an industry and media event, sharing their insights, experience, and developing cocktail recipes. Taking place from September 14th – 20th, this year Negroni Week presented by Imbibe Magazine and Campari, raised money for struggling hospitality workers. In Canada, the event supported the Bartender Benevolent Fund.
To celebrate this signature cocktail, and the success of Negroni Week, we have four exciting negroni recipes from Campari and the bartending team at Dante. While the negroni is not a new cocktail, it is a classic, and twists on this sophisticated staple can be an exciting addition to any bar menu. As patio popularity still stands, and as alcohol delivery continues to be an important part of a restaurant’s operations, leveraging spirits that excite customers is essential.
