MM: What can a nomination or win do for a person—professionally, personally and philosophically?
TS: A nomination or win can help so much professionally; I strongly believe it’ll help build more self-confidence and build winners’ resumes! Being acknowledged in this competitive industry is hard enough! Win or lose, being nominated is a huge accomplishment.
MM: Why do you feel other industry professionals should take the time to nominate people in their professional or social communities?
TS: Other industry professionals should take the time to nominate because it shows appreciation to those in the hospitality industry and rewards an individual who is deserving and helps create the way for the future.
